01How this estimate is calculated
By default, this planner splits the total assessment evenly across every unit in the association — the same “equal allocation” math many associations use for across-the-board assessments. If your governing documents allocate by square footage, ownership percentage, or unit type instead, use the custom amount option and enter your exact share once you know it (from your board notice or governing documents).
When you choose a monthly payment plan, the total is split evenly across the term you select, with any leftover cents added to the earliest payments so the schedule always adds up to the exact total — no rounding drift. This tool doesn't add interest or fees; if your association finances assessments through a lender, ask your board whether additional costs apply.
